Miley Cyrus is just a normal girl according to her new BFF, Twilight actress Ashley Greene.

Greene, who dates Joe Jonas, said that Miley's fame and fortune at a young age had not affected her and that she was a 'perfectly normal' girl.

The two actresses recently finished filming LOL, a remake of a French teen movie, alongside Demi Moore.

"Plenty of Disney kids are perfectly normal and love what they do. But you always hear about the people who aren't doing well. It's kind of like the squeaky wheel." Greene added when speaking to Teen Vogue.

Speaking about her character in LOL, Greene said it was fun to play someone different to Alice Cullen in the Twilight saga.

"I'm kind of like a bad girl in that film. It's a really big departure from Alice," she said. "And as much as I love that character, I'm excited for people to see a bit of my range."
